ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Stephen Samuel PE, Founder and President of DV, has over 22 years of experience in developing and using high-end CAD tools and mentoring its users. During a ten-year career at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, he implemented advanced CAD/CAM technology in a design and manufacturing environment. He has trained thousands of engineers in Siemens, written self-paced courses in UG Advanced Modeling and Best Practices, and performed design work for numerous Fortune 500 companies.
Eric Weeks, Senior DV Engineer, has over 10 years of mechanical design and product development engineering experience at DV, Johnson & Johnson, and Medtronic. He has developed products using Siemens and Pro/ENGINEER, and has trained countless engineers in Siemens NX and Teamcenter Engineering PLM. Eric is co-author of Teamcenter Engineering PLM publications and co-inventor on pending U.S. Patents.
Mark Kelley has 22 years’ of mechanical design and analysis experience at DV, Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, and Westinghouse Electric. He has trained and mentored engineers in Siemens, COSMOS, and Pro/ENGINEER for the last 10 years. He has written advanced training courses for Siemens, Pro/ENGINEER, Pro/SURFACE, and Pro/SHEETMETAL, and is a PTC Certified Engineering Provider.
